DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

 

RE-ADVERTISEMENT
(short-term contract, 24 months)

SALARY - £30,861 - £32,763 + Islands’ Allowance (where appropriate)

 

Stòrlann supports Gaelic medium education nationally, particularly by co-ordinating the production and distribution of teaching resources. Stòrlann’s head office is in Lewis but staff members are located throughout Scotland.

We are seeking a skilful, enthusiastic  individual who will implement the resource commissioning programme for  Gàidhlig and Gaelic in secondary school by:

  • maintaining dialogue with teachers, authorities and other bodies in order to identify resource requirements
  • co-ordinating the production of resources according to appropriate criteria
  • contributing to CPD programmes to assist teachers in making full use of resources

Applications are invited from those who are fluent in Gaelic and have excellent administrative and communication skills. Applicants should also have experience of IT.   A driving licence is essential.
